7. 10. 2011 // Eric Joris // Kategorie Randnotizen 2011The most challenging part of Terra Nova was to find a method to make the ‘outside’ expressive. In principle immersion makes only sense while being immersed. The idea was to have an ‘inside’ story which prompts the immersants to do certain things or to move in a particular way. At the ‘outside’ their behaviour and movements could however be understood in an entirely different way. Could we push it to having to conflicting stories being told at the same time? A story which would be dependant upon your viewpoint (inside or outside perspective). Here are some of the tests we prepared:
